Chi-Lai Cherry Yuen is a fashion designer who graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her garments have been exhibited in fashion shows and galleries in Japan and the U.S.A. She has been pre-selected to Japan Fashion Week's 2007 Onward New Designer Grand Prix. Chi-Lai has also received a honorable mention from the CFDA in its scholarship award and La Cambre Award from Arts of Fashion International Competition 2008. Her garments emphasize the value of innovation; it is art in relation to the space, and the functions between the garment and the body.
